Today I did my shoulder and leg workout.  I piled on about 18 plates, (45 lbs each) for this.  I then read some fine print on the leg press machine and noticed it said the starting weight was 103 lbs.  So that’s cool, I thought it was about 45 lbs originally.  That means 45 x 18 = 810 lbs plus the 103 is 913 lbs.  I can do it for 5 sets of 8 reps so I think my maximum weight is a lot higher for one rep.

Well I finally got the template done up and coded so I can post in the public blog here now. I plan on posting my workouts, my diet and everything else I feel like posting here. I am now using this site for my own motivation to keep the weight off! For those that don’t know, I lost 100 lbs in 106 days. I had some serious motivation to do so, but I would have even without that motivation. I had someone close to me lose 100 lbs, but it took her 6 months plus to do so. Well today was an easy one, just 30 minutes on the bike. I did a good back and bicep workout yesterday though. I posted that in the members area too.

Now I’m considering dropping down to 225 lbs. I’ve been at 240 lbs for a while and was holding here to let my skin snap back a bit before dropping anymore. That’s the one thing with losing 100 lbs, your skin needs time to recover. Read more

Had a great workout today. My back is still a little tender from moving a 300 lb elliptical into my basement on the weekend, but it’s getting better daily. That’s the thing with working out, you seem to recover a lot faster then you would if you were not! Read more
