Another day another workout update. I did miss Saturday due to a Pig Roast. It was fun but beer has a lot of calories so I wrote that day off. I do think it’s important to have a couple days of fun when maintaining, otherwise the cheat desire increases too much. My diet was horrible on the day of the party. I admit it. I ate chips and beer! Not good for keeping weight off but I will make up for it with cardio and always do my workouts. The metabolism is still there so it can absorb days like that without issue.
Here’s my workout:

Friday July 5th, 2013

Biceps:

  • Curly bar curls (drop sets)
  • Bent over one arm concentration curls
  • Olympic Bar 21’s
  • Standing one arm cable curls

Back:

  • Deadlifts
  • Reverse grip chin up followed by close grip cable pulldown to finish any set I couldn’t do the full chin ups for
  • Cable pull downs (Superset with Cable rows)
  • Cable rows

Forearms:

  • Forearm curls with bar

Abs:

  • 3 x 25 straight bar rotations
  • 3 x 25 one side crunches on mat, (both sides got 3 x 25)
  • 3 x 25 straight leg raises on mat

Monday July 8th, 2013

Shoulders:

  • Tri-set bent over one arm cable, standing one arm cable, forward one arm cable
  • Rope pulls through the legs forward
  • Should presses

Legs:

  • Leg Press, (1,003 lbs)
  • Leg extensions
  • Leg curls
  • Tri-set for calves on leg press machine

Forearms:

  • Behind the back olympic bar curls

Abs:

  • 3 x 25 Ab machine crunches
  • 3 x 25 Side bends with 45 lb plate

I also did 30 minutes on the bike to make up for missing my Saturday run.
