You Don’t Have To Always Run For Cardio

I’ve got basketball tonight in the men’s league and it’s near the end of the season for us. Although most of us are living our glory days again, it is a competitive league and a great cardio workout. So that’s what I wanted to post quickly about today. You don’t have to go for a long run or jog to do cardio. There’s lots of things you can do besides running. I’ve compiled a little list of ideas for you below:

  • Basketball
  • Baseball
  • Raquetball
  • Football
  • Soccer
  • Volleyball
  • Swimming
  • Surfing
  • Biking
  • Walking
  • Take the stairs

That’s just a couple. I know there’s probably a lot more out there. What other cardio things do you do? If sports aren’t your thing, maybe it’s because you were scared to play due to your weight? I could see that being an issue as when I was super fat, I still wanted to play but didn’t play as well as I used to or do now.
